Cracking the code – Building for growth

May 26, 2023 | Movenpick Hotel & Residences

The 2023 edition of the Big Baraza: Cracking the Code: Building for Growth will focus on SMEs who have been thriving in the last few years when globally, businesses have taken hit after hit.

These businesses within their industries have been thriving even as others have shut down in the last few years,  they took control of their destinies, creating resilience, exploring alternative sources of financing, managing innovation and fine tuned their processes and productivity.

The aim of this year’s conference is to explore the strong foundations on which businesses are built so that they can withstand environmental shocks, especially as we are still coming out of the effects to businesses and the economy after COVID-19 and going through the elections period.

This year, the Big Baraza will be held in-person at the Movenpick for the 2nd year in a row and will target 500 SMEs as participants, with opportunities to exhibit innovative solutions targeted at different audiences.

The Big Baraza conference is designed to be an interactive, engaging, and participatory platform, giving SMEs the opportunity to be part of the debates as well as exhibit their products and services as well as network and learn with and from their peers. The environment provides information on the latest trends to more efficiently grow the SME business given the environment they are in and the opportunities therein. It also provides an opportunity to exchange experiences among business people from different industries and share insights on how to translate investment in innovation into new business revenue streams.
